Emmerdale’s Aaron & Jackson in Lanzarote

For those of you following the British series Emmerdale you’ll already know that Aaron and Jackson have jetted off to Lanzarote for their summer holiday. Unfortunately the lads won’t actually be filmed whilst on holiday so don’t expect to see any scenes from around the island in the coming episodes.

We liked this spoof of a postcard sent from Aaron to his mum posted on his blog Aaron Livesay:

Aaron Livesy is played by Danny Miller and boyfriend Jackson Walsh is actor Mark Silcock.

Gay Pride?

The team at Gay Lanza and Gay Lanzarote couldn’t attend the recent Pride Festival so we’ve been reading the reports with interest.

Rex Wockner said “About 250 people paraded through the streets of Puerto del Carmen” in his report 1st Pride Lanzarote.

La Voz de Lanzarote reported that the organisation had told them more than 3,000 people participated “Más de 3.000 personas, según la organización, pudieron disfrutar del intenso y festivo ambiente que se respiraba en la Avenida de las Playas de Puerto del Carmen” in their report La celebración de Orgullo Gay tomó la avenida de Las Playas

Ian had been out in central London to celebrate his new job at the home office, sadly he suffered a brain injury after being punched to the ground and 18 days later his life support machine was switched off by his devastated family.

Three youngsters were arrested for the attack, Rachel Burke and Ruby Thomas are 18 and Joel Alexander 19, they all deny manslaughter.

A petition has been launched to raise the charges from manslaughter to murder, if you feel strongly about the case, please sign the petition: Raise charges to Murder for the death of Ian Bayham
